ARTIST STATEMENT

I can’t resist journeying to the Underworld with only a flickering lantern, exploring every cave until I’m able to resurface again: reborn, revitalized, renewed. It’s in my nature to dissolve into sea-foam like the Little Mermaid and re-emerge on a clamshell like triumphant Venus.

I enjoy telling outside-of-the-box narratives. I yearn to surprise people, to evoke strong emotions, to provide a fresh perspective. 

I love exploring possibilities. I love the unconventional. I love learning. I want to make people think. I want to make people wonder. I want to make people dream.
